Maritime Bread Co. is a wholesale bakery known for its artisan breads and nautical-inspired brand heritage. This project centered around a brand refresh that expanded upon the company’s existing visual identity while preserving the character and craftsmanship that made the brand recognizable.
Inspired by the original Blackbeard linocut logo, I created a series of custom illustrations and packaging designs that stayed true to the brand’s handcrafted roots. To maintain authenticity, each illustration was carved by hand into linoleum blocks, inked, and then digitized for use across packaging and marketing materials. The final work blended traditional printmaking techniques with modern production, creating a cohesive identity that felt timeless, tactile, and true to the brand’s story.
